Now the danger follows her everywhere and even Cammie “The Chameleon” can’t hide. But that’s exactly what happened two months ago when she faced off against an ancient terrorist organization dead set on kidnapping her. What she didn’t know was that the serious, real-life danger would start during her junior year of high school. Overall, this is a great addition to the series, which I highly recommend you read!! I’m going to end this review now, since it’s about 1am and I want to start the 5th book of the series. When Cammie Morgan enrolled at the Gallagher Academy, she knew she was preparing for the dangerous life of a spy. I don’t want to write too much in this review as to give too much away - this is the fourth installment, so if you’ve made it this far, I’m sure you’re already hooked in and will continue reading just like I am! Ally’s writing style flows so well, and she creates a great voice of maturity while also maintaining the essence of a teenage girl. It was great getting to learn a bit more about the Circle and the people who are after Cammie, even though we still don’t know what exactly they want from her. The book is action packed right from the start, and I’m constantly left wondering why these books haven’t been turned into a movie or TV series yet. We finally get a glimpse at the Blackthorne Institute for Boys, and start to learn more about Zach.

Obviously the stakes are higher, and we get some answers but even more questions. We get to see the reappearance of previous characters such as Zach and Abby, as well as being introduced to Bex’s parents.Ĭammie is just as brave and stubborn as ever.

It’s been about two months since I binge read the first three books of the series, so it took a few chapters for me to remember everything that’s going on. Now the Gallagher Girls must hack, spy, steal, and lie their way to the truth as they discover that the key to Cammie’s future may lie deep in the past. When a terrifying encounter in London reveals that one of her most-trusted allies is actually a rogue double-agent, Cammie no longer knows if she can trust her classmates, her teachers-or even her own heart. Now the danger follows her everywhere, and even Cammie “The Chameleon” can’t hide.

But that’s exactly what happened two months ago when Cammie faced off against an ancient terrorist organization dead set on kidnapping her.
